The Art of Asana
Alignment, Technique & Intelligent Transitions
The art of Asana is a series of focused workshops designed for yoga practitioners and teachers who want to deepen their understanding of yoga postures and transitions. Each session explores a specific theme through detailed breakdowns, practical drills, and guided exploration within the dynamic frameworks of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and Rocket Yoga. You will explore:
• precise alignment principles
• technique and biomechanics
• modifications and variations
• partner work and adjustments
Each two-hour session is dedicated for participants to explore how postures work, feel, and connect with each other, and evolve their personal practice to the next level.
The Art of Asana Series #1:
Master Your Flow
Join Jane and Paulo for a series of masterclasses designed to deepen your understanding of yoga Asana and transitions.
In this first workshop, we will look closely at the purpose of each pose and the elements that support smooth and efficient movement through Sun Salutations. Together we will explore key alignment principles, accessible modifications, and practical ways to develop greater stability and ease. Along the way, you will learn to recognize your own strengths and challenges, discovering how the practice can adapt to your body rather than the body being forced to fit a single form.
